I’ve been doing this video production crap for a long time.

I began as a high school intern in 2001, learning Final Cut Pro 2 and shooting on a Canon LX1… You know what? Never mind. Just typing this is making me feel old and cranky.

Throughout my career, I’ve been involved in a bit of everything behind the camera and the computer monitor — from the early days of internet streaming to social media, animation, television post-production, and music production. In that time it feels like I’ve used just about every control surface and plugin under the sun. There are a lot of great products out there, but I kept finding myself wishing someone would develop this or that. So, rather than living in perpetual sadness, I decided to build my own tool.

In addition to my production experience, I somehow ended up with a bachelor’s degree in computer information science. I’m certainly no coding prodigy, but I was finally able to combine the two worlds! After using my tool for a while and continuing to develop it, I realized it could really help other creatives, coders, lawn gnome sales folks, and maybe even some guys named Larry.

My dog, Daisy, agreed to support my efforts for a modest fee of no less than ten (10) belly rubs.
